Gladys Fordingbridge may be the elderly standard host with the group. She is the only real lady. Her front room is cluttered with cat hairs and photographs of distant kinfolk. Her poems consist solely of sub-Pam Ayres cat poems, one of which, entitled 'Naughty Paws', managed to rhyme 'Whiskas' with 'discus'.Although Savage seems severe and uncaring
